When Steve and Laura Michalopoulos moved to Southern California eight years from Boston they noted that there weren’t many upscale-casual dining experiences that made families feel comfortable. They understood the difference in eating fresh scratch-made cuisine and prepackaged or prepared foods. “I don’t understand why they’re not many restaurants that provide an upscale yet casual dining experience for families,” they recalled.
As a result they began their journey to create a unique upscale-causal dining experience for everyone including families. And just like that, a new culinary concept was born.
